I have always enjoyed working with colors, textures, and different materials to help clients choose plant materials and hard scrapes to create cozy, inviting outdoor spaces they could enjoy and be proud of."

Growing up in construction,
I always thought I wanted
to be an architect designing
luxury buildings. I dreamed
of getting a degree from Iowa
State, in architecture. The
program introduced me to
several new facets of design.

While in school, I obtained a part-time job with a landscaping company and worked full time through the summer. I enjoyed working with colors, textures, and different materials. Helping customers choose plant materials and hard scrapes to create their outdoor spaces was invigorating, but landscaping is seasonal in Iowa. Luckily, as the season ended, the owner's wife asked me to help her merchandise her gift shop with furniture and home accessories. Our shared passion for design encouraged me to continue cultivating my design talents.

I began working at Pier One, helping customers redo their interiors with Pier One's seasonal merchandise. I especially enjoyed working with decorative pillows, mixing colors, textures, and patterns. I also realized a talent for creating floral arrangements using skills I learned from landscaping.

With the work experience I obtained and my educational studies complete, I was ready for a change. I moved to Texas and began working in furniture sales. It allowed me to continue creating beautiful room designs to suit client needs and further develop my skills.

In my search for affordable housing, a friend introduced me to managed vacant home staging. I began staging two to three properties per year. My furniture and accessories collection began to grow to meet each new property's unique needs. As it grew, so did my capability to stage larger properties and luxury homes. As I developed my staging skills, houses began to sell more quickly. My passion for design and the value of my staging skills planted a seed that continued to grow. When I get a call from a client saying their property received an offer at or above asking and is now under contract, it makes my day and waters that seed.

The feeling compelled me to leverage my successful reputation with my contacts and realtors to start SNE DFW Stagers. As a HSR Certified Professional and Redesigner, I serve the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas. We have completed the most comprehensive and intensive home staging and redesign certification courses in North America provided by the Home Staging Resource.

The HSR Certification program was the first and is one of the only Accredited staging training by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) who is the governing body for the home staging industry.

SNE DFW Stagers brings staging experience and expertise to realtors, home sellers, real estate investors, new home builders, probate lawyers, and relocation services who want to maximize their investment return in a shorter timeframe.
